We represent both employees and employers in disputes involving discrimination based on race, sex, age, disability, national origin, religion, and other protected characteristics under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, and Ohio law.

Federal and state civil rights cases including § 1983 claims, First Amendment retaliation, due process violations, and other constitutional claims. We are experienced in multi-defendant public entity litigation.

Defense and enforcement of non-compete agreements, non-solicitation clauses, trade secret misappropriation under the DTSA and Ohio law, and other restrictive covenant proceedings.

Peter's litigation practice is primarily focused on employment discrimination, non-compete and trade secret defense, and civil rights. Peter also advises and defends public and private employers and serves as outside general counsel to select clients.

Away from the firm, Peter provides services to a variety of pro bono legal clinics, is a member of the CMBA's Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Committee, and was an election observer in each of the last four presidential elections.
